The Rat in the Hat

Bad boys, bad boys...whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
"Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam..."                                      The Princess Bride

I'm your huckleberry.
"Once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens."
(the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
"To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant.   To the great western wood, King Edmund the Just..."                                               (the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)

Yo, Yo - Wassup, Dawg?
Where be the treasure?
Arghhh, I be the scourge of the seven seas.
Edmund FINALLY graduated from his maze training classes.  He's pooped!
Ellie Mae’s plumb tuckered out after playing cards
with her girlfriends all afternoon!
My girl likes to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time...

Sail away, Sail away, Sail away.....

Only YOU would make Narnia references about pet rats. So funny...just so funny. Angie, you're a total freak, and that's probably my favorite thing about you! :)

  2. Angie, I think you are hands down the coolest, most fun mom and pet owner. I mean, how the heck am I supposed to compete with this? I scream if Andy brings a bug in the house. If I saw a rat, I would have a heart attack. These rats get more pampering and attention than the most "dignified" family pet. And, you use the playtime to churn out these really fun stories and post them on a blog. I bet Ringo is the happiest kid alive. I am going to go eat a bucket of bon-bons and mull over how I CAN NOT do this stuff. :(

  4. Becca: I'm a total freak? Well, I wasn't expecting someone to outright say that, but I guess you can't have a blog about rat-humans without someone labeling you a freak. About the Narnia references...there's not THAT MUCH difference between lions and rats, is there?

Laura: You know better than to make such a statement! Everyday in our house isn't a festival of fun. Trust me, Ringo will have plenty of memories about my parenting fails. In fact, this blog will be a foggy memory when he's a grown man. And, just so you know...I probably ate a bucket load of Bon-Bon icecream balls just last week! You're an amazing mom! Andy is one of the luckiest kids I know! So hush it, woman!
