Musical Rats

Peter is practicing for tonight's big recital.

Resting before the recital.

No rat can resist the sound of a harp!

Even wild city rats will come out of hiding to hear beautiful music!

  1. Oh, Angela! This is hysterical! I will show this to Sydney & Ethan and see if they want to lend you little toys for your project. I know they will love these pictures!

  4. That's so cute, especially the picture with the (French?) horn.

  5. Thanks guys! The french horn was my favorite pic, too. I have to admit, I put a tiny smidgen of peanut butter on the very tip in order to entice him. :)

  8. Ok, now this is just wild. You say you put a bit of peanut butter on the horn, but how did you get him to hold it just like a horn? He really looks like he's playing it! And, I notice that someone commented in what appears to be chinese or japanese...I wonder what their comments says?

  9. It says, "I love your pet rat."

  10. Laura: I didn't get him to hold it like that. I just waited around, there's only so many ways he could have held it and I figured we'd eventually get one shot. Did I mention that I'm a total insomniac? Nocturnal Rats + Insomniac Angela = way too much time to play with rats in the middle of the night.

Wendy: Are you sure the Japanese (or chinese? sorry if I got it wrong!) comment says, "I love your pet rat."? It could say, "Get a life and stop playing with rats, you crazy lady."
